In line with its mission on training and technical assistance, IRIS organized a training workshop on ‘’Marketing of High-Tech Products’’ with the cooperation of ISTT on May 26th, 2016.
In this workshop which 26 participants from different industrial k-based companies attended, Dr. Rainer Hasenauer, professor of Vienna University of Economics and Business, talked about ‘’ B2B Marketing for High Tech Markets’’. The main topics described in the workshop were ; Market, Knowledge Markets, Innovation, Conditions of Marketability, Technology & Market Readiness, Acceptance/Rejection, Willingness to Pay, Business Model, Triple Base Line, Market Percolation, … .
Some of the issues that Prof. Hasenauer talked about included:
· The difference between innovation and invention
· Disruptive innovation and changes in social practices, the way we live, work and learn
